1 Day Build Your Own Experience

One day. One board. Built by you, in our Worcestershire workshop - with some of the groundwork already done for you.

This is the shortened version of our full two-day course. We handle more of the prep in advance, including your custom graphics, so on the day, you're straight into the hands-on building. You won't have shaped the core or cut the sidewall yourself, we do that ahead of time, but you're hands-on for the assembly, the press, and the finish - the parts that turn it from components into your board.

Before You Arrive

This bit happens before you set foot in the workshop. We'll work with you on the graphics for your board - happy to design them with you, or if you've got the software and the skills, send us your own design and we'll prep it ready to print (extra help is available if you want a hand getting it print-ready). Not sure on shape, size or style? Give us a call or drop us a message, we'll talk it through. Once everything's signed off, we get to work prepping it all ahead of your course date.

On the Day

You'll be greeted by your host, shown round the workshop, and we'll talk through the prep work already done. Then it's hands-on: assembling the parts, picking your lay-up, mixing the glue, and stacking and pressing it all together. Your board bakes for the best part of an hour while we break for lunch, trying not to think about it too much. Once it's out, we cut and grind the excess, sand and finish it properly by hand, then tune and wax it. A few photos, a final look-over, and it's packaged up yours, finished and ready to ride.

The Details

• £825 per person.
• Up to 3 people per course.
• All ages welcome - some assistance might be needed. Anyone under 18 needs to be accompanied by an adult.
• Food, cafes and shops are nearby but not included. Same goes for accommodation - plenty of options close by, just not part of the price.
• You leave with a finished, ready-to-ride board. We can help fit bindings on the day, but don't supply them - bring your own.
• Booking needs to be confirmed at least a week before your course date. We'll need the graphics as well as your full board spec (shape, size and style) finalised so we can prep everything properly ahead of your visit.
