FAQ's
Do I need to be a good snowboarder ?
We recommend that you can at least make you're way around a mountain, the Slovak camp includes coaching but with there being limited coaching available for the whole group, the instructor won't spend the whole week with just you if you are the only beginner. (Beginner coaching is available for an extra cost)
The French Trip does not include coaching, but there are instructors you an book if you think you need help.
Do I need to bring my own kit?
You will need Snowboarding clothing, and we also recommend bringing your own boots and bindings to.Some people also like bringing their current board too as a way to compare what they currently ride to our Douk range.
Boots and bindings can be hired for an extra cost.
Can I customise my free board?
The free snowboard offer is only on our stock boards and graphics, however for an extra £150 you can go for a custom option, with custom graphics and mix and matching of shapes and profiles.
There is also offers if you would like multiple boards from the camp but these would need to be discussed.
What will I eat ?
Slovakia:
A full breakfast is served every morning included in the price. On the mountain there is a wide selection of places to eat from more local foods, to more standard options. In the evening you can either cook for yourselves using the chalets kitchen or there is a great selection of restaurants in town that we normally will book as a group.
France:
Full English Breakfast is included every morning , with lunch being on the mountain with a wide choice of restaurants. A three course dinner is included on 5 nights, so on the other 2 nights the group normally will go out to a restaurant for the evening meals and Apres-ski drinks.
