Our Story

We're not just a snowboard company. We're snowboard builders. We have a workshop in Worcestershire and a deep, slightly obsessive love of building things that ride well.

Douk started in 2012 — born out of frustration with off-the-shelf boards and a genuine belief that riders deserved better. Not just better performance, but better fit, better craft, and a board that actually reflects who they are on the mountain.

Every board we make is handbuilt from scratch. We shape it, press it, finish it, and wax it with Butta — also made right here in the UK. We know exactly what goes into every board because we put it there ourselves.

Our range covers everything from soft park boards to stiff freeride chargers, with a full custom option if you want to go completely your own way. Not sure what you need? Just ask. We're not going to push you towards the most expensive thing on the list — we're going to help you find the right board for how you ride.

Over the years, the community that's grown around Douk has become as important as the boards themselves. From our snow camps in Slovakia and the French Alps to the Build Your Own Snowboard courses in our workshop, it's always been about more than the kit. It's about the people who ride it.
